A bit about our author

Dan joined Opencast in 2021, returning to his native North East after studying business and management at the University of Exeter. His role as executive delivery manager focuses on expanding the capacity and influence of Opencast Chief Executive Tom Lawson. This includes dealing with assigned special projects, providing additional sources of information and contributing to the effective operation of the office of the CEO. During his time at Opencast, Dan led the company’s HQ office expansion project, driving team consultation and steering the project to design sign-off and through a seven-month construction phase. He was pivotal to buy-in and success – offering liaison to the CEO, board, leadership team and wider company. Dan also supported the selection and implementation of an ERP solution to overhaul existing IT systems and prepare Opencast for expansion.
