Opencast is a highly skilled and fast-growing technology consultancy.
We are a company of talented practitioners who always work to do what’s best for our clients. We’re passionate about the outcome, and how we get there.
Opencast is recruiting across the UK. We operate a flexible hybrid model, meaning that it doesn't matter where you're located. It's about being at the right place at the right time to deliver your work, with your clients and team.
Working at Opencast offers you the opportunity to learn at the cutting edge, such as with eXtreme programming (XP) practices and emerging technologies.
We want to provide our people with interesting work for organisations that matter to them – and when planning we listen to them. We also want to give our people the best chance to grow with us.
We'll offer you a great package of benefits while you are with us. Find out more about the way we work - and what we offer.
Opencast is committed to providing the best support for its people whilst retaining a flat structure. Our team of ‘people experience partners’ (PEEPs) helps ensure that our consultants have someone advocating for their needs.
All permanent consultants at Opencast are allocated a PEEP from day one to support them with their day-to-day working lives. From personal development to wellbeing, PEEPs are there to enable, coach and champion our consultants.
Our PEEPs structure is designed to avoid unnecessary hierarchy and ensure our people are supported, cared for and given a voice whilst retaining their autonomy to drive their own career.
As we always say: if in doubt, ask your PEEP.

We asked our people to tell us about their experiences at Opencast and why they love working here. Great teamwork, a positive, can-do culture and a range of benefits and support are right up there on the list of reasons why it's great to work for the business.
What makes Opencast different are the qualities of our people. Those qualities underpin the values we embrace and the way we work as a team. We enable people to take responsibility for their work by creating teams of innovative, self-starting thinkers from a range of backgrounds and career paths.
A sudden growth in demand for our online services required a rapid scale-up and a restructure of our architecture. Opencast was absolutely key to our success in managing that, with no unplanned downtime
Murray Ellender, chief executive

I love working at Opencast. The culture is amazing and the recognition the company gives for my work makes me want to push harder for our clients. I feel like I am directly responsible for the success of the company in my own way, which is nice!
