Profile

Tom has 17 years of experience shaping, leading and consulting on significant business and technology change programmes.

He joined Opencast in 2019 as Corporate Development Director, before becoming Chief Executive in late 2020.

He spent eight years at Capgemini working on digital delivery and innovation, and six on programmes at BT Global Services. His work included a complex £40m+, 100+ person, programme of operational and digital transformation at HMRC and the delivery of a £40m+ enterprise transformation at a Scottish Government executive agency.

Tom is a former Prince’s Trust mentor. Born and raised in Yorkshire, he graduated from Durham University and is settled in the North East. He is passionate about helping people grow and building client relationships. He’s leading Opencast through a period of rapid expansion.
