James Hodgson

James Hodgson joined Opencast as Chief Financial Officer in November 2022.

He gained a first-class honours degree in accounting and financial management at the University of Sheffield before completing his chartered accountant training in London.

After a stint in investment banking, James progressed his career in the technology sector before returning to his roots in Yorkshire.

At Opencast James is focused on developing the business for the next stage in its growth journey, building on the strong cultural and commercial foundations laid by the Opencast founders and leadership team.
