Profile

Hazel has several years of experience in public sector and disability inclusion projects. As a disabled person themself, Hazel has made accessibility and digital inclusion a core part of their practice.

Hazel has a PhD in population health sciences, with a focus on co-designing playful public health education initiatives with citywide stakeholders.

During their time at Opencast, Hazel was involved in projects working to improve disabled people's experiences of identity verification, facilitated mentoring training for consultants and rolled out accessibility training for the research community.
