Charlie’s background is in strategy and corporate finance for building high-growth services businesses. He was Founder and Chief Executive of marketing communications group Loewy – building the business to £50m - from four to 400 staff. Charlie is Managing Director of the Hoults Yard business centre and chair-angel of UK-leading digital recruiter Futureheads. He was also Chair of North East England tech network Dynamo North East. This has been responsible for initiating £100m of projects, including Newcastle University’s National Innovation Centre for Data and a new science-specialist senior school North East Futures UTC.
