New work with the education department will see Opencast consultants support DfE's data directorate, with two contracts until 2025.

Across these contracts, Opencast will help DfE to collect richer data on a near real-time basis, reduce time spent in data validation and modernise its architecture.

The two new areas of work are:

• An £8.5m contract to supply architects across DfE’s Solutions Architecture practice

• A one-year, £2.1m agreement to provide architecture and data modelling services for the DfE’s Learner Data Services programme.
