A bit about our author

John joined Opencast in 2022 as a Junior Consultant. He studied to be a multimedia designer, and his first tech role was developing tracking software for food supply chains. He worked as a software developer for over 15 years in various other industries including financial services, contact centres and digital agencies. He is based in Scotland, near Glasgow. John is passionate about getting involved in the Opencast software community, and often writes blogs on technology.
