How user-centred design helps in healthcare

User-centred design (UCD) is vitally important in helping healthcare organisations to understand what people need and want from health services before they start to build them. Our good practice guide, grounded in Opencast’s knowledge of what works in UCD for the public sector, allows us to offer eight prompts for those working in healthcare looking to apply a UCD mindset to their teams.
