The role

You'll make the journey for potential Opencast candidates the best it can be. You'll understand the need for a smooth recruitment process. You'll drive best practice in an Opencast friendly way.
You’ll work with our internal teams providing recruitment knowledge and advice. You'll use your creative mindset and negotiation skills to remove any blockers. 

Our culture is super important to us. You’ll hold our values at the centre of our process and articulate them to potential candidates. You'll get a deep understanding of the service and job families you’re hiring for. You'll know how to strategically develop external networks to deliver our hiring strategy. Ultimately, you'll help us hire great people for Opencast. 

What you’ll do within our teams

  • Source and identify tech talent for Opencast across the UK  
  • Deliver for client demand, working with our planning, capacity and client experience teams 
  • Source candidates through creative and proactive approaches 
  • Review CVs, do initial chats, match skills and ensure candidates share our values 
  • Support various hiring stages 
  • Act as a 'values' interviewer during our 1st and 2nd stage discussions 
  • Develop agency relationships, ensuring these partnerships are operating successfully  
  • Create and ideate advertisements and marketing content   
  • Support with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting   
  • Immerse yourself in the industry, attend events and industry related updates 
  • Support with the marketing of meet-ups, open days or conferences

    Where you’ll work
    At Opencast we trust our people to make the right decisions. You may work remotely from home or, depending on your project, you may be required to occasionally work at a client site or your nearest Opencast office.

    Interview process
    Interviews take place over Microsoft Teams. If that doesn’t work for you, we’ll do everything we can to support and make any necessary adjustments. We want to ensure everyone has the best possible interview experience.
