The role  
 
The role of Learning and Development Coordinator is to provide exceptional support services as part of the wider People team at Opencast. Working with the Learning and Development Business Partner, you will make our learning journey the best it can be by helping to coordinate, organise and administer learning activity across the company. You will have a data driven mindset and will work with available data to monitor how learning opportunities are being used, understanding the effectiveness of the learning we offer.  You will be people orientated, passionate and excited to develop as a learning and development practitioner, ultimately providing a great experience for people at Opencast

What you'll do within our teams

  • Execute and continuously improve our learning process and lifecycle
  • Manage the administration of our learning platform by onboarding new colleagues and sharing learning opportunities
  • Ensure all learning requests have been scheduled following approval
  • Monitor our learning and development activity and expenditure, telling a story with our data
  • Be creative in your approach to communication sharing data to our colleagues. (budget, available learners, evaluation surveys)
  • Create and manage a process for learning completion data
  • Creating positive relationships with learning providers, to help build out our learning library
  • Help design and deliver learning interventions
  • Research new learning opportunities  
  • You'll suit this role if you:

  • have previous experience working in a people or learning and development role.
  • are analytical in your approach.
  • are proactive in getting things done and working independently when needed.
  • have a passion to continue building a positive pro-learning culture.
  • have great attention to detail.
  • genuinely love working with people.
  • have a growth mindset and a love of learning.
  • Bonus nice to haves

  •  CIPD level 3 or another relevant people focused qualification
  • Coaching qualifications or experience working in a coaching culture

    Where you’ll work 
     
    At Opencast we trust our people to make the right decisions. You may work remotely from home or, depending on your project, you may be required to occasionally work at a client site or your nearest Opencast office.
