The role 

As Brand marketing manager you will be joining the Opencast team at an exciting time – as we continue to grow and build the Opencast brand from our North East roots across the UK. 
You will be responsible for leading and delivering creative and engaging campaigns covering the full marketing mix for both a recruitment and corporate development audience.  
 
You will work closely with our corporate development and client experience teams in supporting them to win new business opportunities and our talent acquisition team to shape how we consistently showcase our culture and values as an employer of choice. 
You will be responsible for putting our brand on the map as we move into new markets, managing social channels, events, advertising campaigns and content – helping us spread the Opencast work, purpose and values to both our client and potential employee audiences. 

What you'll do within our teams

  • Act as a brand guardian for all digital assets and marketing collateral. 
  • Track, analyse and report on relevant marketing metrics to measure the success of campaigns  
  • Manage suppliers and agencies  
  • Work closely with our people to empower them to act as effective ambassadors of Opencast 
  • Manage content creation for all channels, including social media 
  • Develop new and relevant video, photography and marketing assets to demonstrate our values and USP   
  • Organise and manage recruitment and brand awareness events 
  • Manage a range of advertising campaigns across digital and offline channels 
  • Maintain the company website and develop new areas as required  
  • Manage SEO activity to ensure we are represented within the correct markets 
  • You'll suit this role if:

  • you have the ability to manage integrated campaigns and projects that includes digital/social strategy (paid and organic) 
  • you’re able to plan for short, medium and long-term campaigns and brand positioning 
  • you’re highly organised and have an eye for detail and accuracy 
  • you can demonstrate the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels 
  • you’re experienced in using Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Data Studio to pull together campaign tracking and reporting 
  • you’re comfortable using creative tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud apps 
  • you’re a proactive self-starter and problem-solver

    Where you’ll work
    At Opencast we trust our people to make the right decisions. You may work remotely from home or, depending on your project, you may be required to occasionally work at a client site or your nearest Opencast office.
