The role 
 
We are looking for a Bid Coordinator to join the opencast Bid Team. This is a key role which is designed to support key bidding activities including mailbox and query management, bid co-ordination from receipt of new opportunities through to bid submission and bid retros, ongoing management of our bid library, and management of our bid templates.
 
here is also the opportunity to get involved in drafting written bid submissions as your knowledge develops.

What You'll Do

∙ Acting as point of contact for a shared mailbox, triaging requests and queries and logging new opportunities and tender documents
∙ Co-ordinating the qualification process to ensure opportunities are reviewed and qualified in a timely manner
∙ Supporting bid managers with bid co-ordination tasks as required, including handling clarifications, proofreading and formatting bid responses, and managing bid submissions
∙ Co-ordinating the bid retro process including scheduling retro sessions and capturing outputs and actions
∙ Maintaining our bid library, ensuring that existing content is updated and new content is added
∙ Co-ordinating framework administration and management in liaison with colleagues across the wider business
∙ Ensuring the published bid process and templates are kept up to date
∙ Producing regular pipeline reports for circulation to colleagues across the business
∙ As your knowledge and familiarity with content develops, drafting bid responses

Essential experience

∙ A highly organised, proactive approach to managing workload
∙ Strong written and verbal communication skills
∙ An ability to work within a deadline-driven environment while retaining attention to detail
∙ Stakeholder management skills with an ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of colleagues
∙ Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


Desirable experience

∙ Previous experience/competency with Salesforce, SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence will be a bonus, but not essential
∙ Familiarity with procurement portals and submission platforms

Salary

£28,000 per annum
